The purpose of this website is to promote Hickleton's past, present and future; by providing a focal point for the promotion and sale of local history publications; by creating a medium to allow an information exchange of today's topics concerning the village; and to promote the Hickleton Heritage Appeal and future events for the church and community.
The site has been produced, compiled and provided by John A Dabell, a member of the Hickleton Heritage Trust, who was born and grew up in the village, and to whom any notices, comments, events etc. should be sent. My e-mail address is johndabell@freenetname.co.uk.
Hickleton Village
Hickleton village built on a spring line at the crest of a limestone ridge, descending slowly west onto fields of clay.
